Jessi is a seasoned hairstylist with over two decades of experience in the beauty industry. Her expertise shines through in her mastery of color artistry, extensions, and unique haircuts that reflect her clients’ individual styles. Although she has worked in various office jobs over the years, her passion for hairstyling has always remained strong, and she continued to hone her skills as a cherished hobby. Now, Jessi is fully returning to the salon, bringing her wealth of experience and creativity to her clients. She is committed to staying on top of the latest trends and is always learning new techniques to ensure her work is fresh and innovative. As one of the co-owners, Jessi also plays a key role in running the salon, contributing to its smooth operation and vibrant atmosphere. Known for her huge kind heart, Jessi brings warmth and empathy to every interaction, making clients feel valued and cared for. 

Outside of work, Jessi is a dedicated mother of two boys, enjoys traveling, and loves spending time with friends. Her home is filled with the love of her three pets—two small dogs and a cat—who add warmth and joy to her daily life. Jessi’s dedication to her craft, combined with her compassionate nature and love for family, makes her an invaluable member of our team.

Shelly brings over 25 years of hairdressing expertise to her clients, making her a true veteran of the industry. As a senior stylist, she has a deep passion for color, continuously refining her skills through countless hours of advanced training. Whether it’s creating bold, vivid shades or mastering natural, lived-in looks, Shelly’s creative eye and technical precision make every appointment an elevated experience. Her dedication to staying current with the latest trends and techniques ensures that her clients always leave feeling stylish and confident.

Beyond her technical skill, Shelly’s clients appreciate her genuine approachability and upbeat personality. A breast cancer warrior, Shelly’s resilience shines through in her personal and professional life, where she focuses on helping others feel their best. Family is her greatest joy, and she loves cheering on her daughter as a Sudbury 5 basketball team cheerleader. In her downtime, Shelly indulges in her love for shopping and fashion, and is always ready to lend an empathetic ear to anyone who needs it. For her, hairstyling is about more than just the look—it’s about building connections and making people feel amazing inside and out.

Dekara brings over 20 years of office management experience to Hairway Two Heaven and is certified to perform our luxurious Head Spa treatments. As a co-owner of the salon, she handles much of the administrative work, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Her role is vital in maintaining the salon’s operations and creating an enjoyable experience for every client. Known for her positive attitude, Dekara has a natural ability to put everyone at ease, making the salon a welcoming and relaxing environment.

Specializing in Head Spa treatments, Dekara offers deeply relaxing scalp massages and hair care rituals that leave clients feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. She has mastered advanced techniques and is also qualified to teach the Head Spa course, sharing her expertise with others looking to provide this premium service.

In her spare time, Dekara enjoys playing baseball, traveling, and spending quality moments with family and friends. Her vibrant personality and diverse interests bring a unique energy to the salon, ensuring that every client feels special and well cared for.

Vanessa is a passionate and driven new addition to the Hairway to Heaven team. Trained by our co-owner, she is excited to embark on her journey in the head spa industry and is committed to delivering relaxing, rejuvenating experiences to every client. With a background in a variety of different jobs, Vanessa’s diverse experiences have shaped her strong work ethic and adaptability, always putting her best foot forward. She has always been interested in the esthetics and beauty industry, with a love for self-care that fuels her dedication to her work.

Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys spending quality time with friends and family, embracing her love for the outdoors, and exploring new adventures. A food enthusiast, she also loves to cook, bake, and explore new endeavors.

Originally from Montreal, Kevin brings seven years of barbering experience, including five years in various barbershops. He’s skilled in fades, skin shaves, beard grooming, Afro-textured hair, and creative hair tattoos. 

As a bilingual barber, Kevin is passionate about sharing his expertise and hopes to teach others the trade in the future.
Outside of the shop, he enjoys basketball, kickboxing, and traveling.

Meet Brooke, Our Newest Stylist at Hairway Two Heaven!

We’re so excited to welcome Brooke to the Hairway Two Heaven family! A graduate of Modern College for Hair, Brooke discovered her passion for hairstyling early and has been dedicated to creating stunning looks ever since.

Brooke grew up on a farm, where she spent her days riding and training horses, instilling a love for hard work and adventure that carries into her career. When she’s not behind the chair, you can find Brooke enjoying the outdoors—whether it’s camping, fishing, or hitting the trails on a dirt bike. She’s also a mom of four amazing girls, who inspire her every day to bring creativity and joy into everything she does.
